The Ryan Huffman Foundation 5th Annual Golf Tournament in Support of Mental Health, Addiction and Youth in Sport
We are ecstatic to announce that the Ryan Huffman Foundation 5th Annual Golf Tournament in Support of Mental Health, Addiction and the importance of Youth in Sport is being held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at Dalewood Golf Club.
Are you ready for the Premiere Golf Experience of 2026? We are planning another full day of golf, great food and drinks (breakfast, lunch and dinner included), along with a chance to win many prizes on the course as well as amazing raffle prizes. Last year we proudly raised just over $73,000.00! In the last 4 years with the support of our community we have raised over $183,000.00 to be then put back into Northumberland County to help people who struggle with mental health and addiction issues and youth in sport. A large portion of this was donated to YMCA Northumberland to enhance The Upturn Program! We also created the Youth in Sport Funding Initiative which provides grants to children who are athletes involved in highly competitive programs. We partnered with East Studio to give people access to free yoga classes. We also had the opportunity to donate a portion of what was raised to programming at Northumberland Hills Hospital – Mental Health Services, KidSport Northumberland, Rebound Child and Youth Services, SONG, the Art Gallery of Northumberland, the Rose Quest, Cobourg Toastmasters and Northumberland United Way.

The members of the Ryan Huffman Foundation: Ryan Huffman, Ashley Crews, Leanne Booth, Pam Trumper and Chad Stewart set a goal to try and break the $50,000 mark this year and we are beyond excited that we did just that!
We would like to again thank every single person and business who sponsored, golfed, volunteered and were involved in any way!
In the last 3 years with the support of our community we have raised over $110,000 to be then put back into Northumberland County to help people who struggle with mental health and addiction issues and youth in sport.

It is with great honour that I announce the total amount raised at the Ryan Huffman Real Estate 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament in Support of Mental Health and Addiction held on May 13th, 2022 – $22,367,62. These funds will be donated to local charities within Northumberland County that support Mental Health, Addiction and Youth in Sport.

4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament in Support of Mental Health and Addiction
Ryan Huffman Real Estate is organizing and running the 4th annual charity golf tournament to create awareness and do their part in raising money towards the growing concern of Mental Health and Addiction in Northumberland County.
Ryan has had his own struggles with mental health and in February of 2021, Ryan found his best friend dead from suicide. For these reasons it has become his life mission to give back and make a significant difference in the Mental Health and Addiction community here in Northumberland County.
On May 9th, 2025 the charity golf tournament will be held at Dalewood Golf Club. The tournament is an 18 hole scramble format, early bird prizes, food stands, and many on course surprises. Stay tuned for more information as we get closer to the event.
